Police took into custody the rural protestors sitting on a dharna by the villagers of Jodhpura on Tuesday under the aegis of Punarvas Sangharsh Samiti to protest against the illegal heavy blasting near the population by the UltraTech Cement Company located in the nearby village Jodhpura-Mohanpura. It is noteworthy that for the last 146 days continuous indefinite strike is being performed by rural women and men. Chairman of Sangharsh Samiti, Satyam Surelia told that illegal heavy blasting is being done by the cement company near the population. The company management has neither acquired his village nor is he being rehabilitated. In this way, on Tuesday, the officials of the subdivision administration along with the police force and the company of RAC reached the protest site in large numbers on the occasion of protest against the promise of UltraTech Cement management regarding their demand for rehabilitation. It is being told that the villagers had blocked the way to the plant. On which the protesting women and men present on the spot were filled in buses and sent to Paniala police station. Due to heavy protests, a company of RAC was also deployed to maintain law and order at the spot. During this, a large number of police administration people including SDM Rishabh Mandal, DSP Gautam Kumar, Tehsildar Abhishek Singh, Naib Tehsildar Bhomsingh Meena, Sarund SHO Indraj Singh and Kotputli SHO Mange Lal were present. On behalf of the villagers, BJP leader Mukesh Goyal and Mandal President Subhash Ghoghar accused the company management of going against the promise. At the same time, the action of the police administration was also declared wrong. The villagers said that the police took into custody the women and men protesting peacefully. The villagers demand that heavy blasting should not be done up to 500 meters near the population and the remaining Jodhpura of Mohanpura should be rehabilitated by closing the crusher running near the population. On the other hand, the women and men who were taken into custody were released on bail.
Allegations of breaking the promise on UltraTech Cement :- BJP leader Mukesh Goyal, who reached the spot in this regard, accused the UltraTech management of breaking the promise and said that heavy blasting has caused cracks in the houses of common people and people are also sick. Despite this, people are not able to live their lives peacefully due to continuous blasting. The villagers are protesting peacefully demanding rehabilitation. In this regard, a decision was taken not to do blasting near the population in a meeting between the villagers and the UltraTech management, which was mediated by the administration. Despite this, at the behest of the state government, the local police administration, along with the company management, forcibly removed the people sitting on dharna peacefully from the spot. In these, rural old women and elders have also suffered injuries, which is a very inhuman act. This is a very dogmatic attitude of the police administration. The company management is occupying the leased houses of the people by getting fencing done on the spot. Including the police.
